Our story

EIR studio was founded by two sisters from Copenhagen, shaped by a shared desire to live and create more intentionally.

What began as a search for better products became something more intentional: a lifestyle rooted in care, ritual, and longevity. We wanted to create pieces that don’t chase trends, but instead invite presence - objects you return to, season after season.

Our collections are designed to support moments of self-care and stillness. From sauna rituals to winter bathing, each piece is made with purpose: to feel grounding, considered, and lasting. We believe that what you surround yourself with shapes how you move through the world.

We don’t compromise on materials. Every choice is guided by quality, ethics, and responsibility - because true luxury lies in what endures, not in what is replaced.

The name Eir is inspired by the Nordic goddess associated with healing and care. She represents protection, restoration, and quiet strength - values that sit at the heart of everything we create.

Rooted in Scandinavian minimalism and Copenhagen’s contrasts, EIR studio is an invitation to slow down, take care, and live deliberately.

This is not just a brand.
It’s a way of living.

The sisters behind EIR

Behind EIR are sisters Nina and Lisa, working between Copenhagen and London.

Before starting EIR, Lisa was working in a fast-paced international role, often travelling with little time to slow down. At the same time, Nina was working in acute psychiatry and had just become a mother. In different ways, it brought a growing awareness of pace, routine, and the need to be more deliberate in how we live and what we choose to use.

Growing up close to the water in Aarhus, Denmark, and returning often to sauna and sea, these rituals became a natural part of that shift, a way to slow down and come back to the body.

At the same time, we found ourselves looking for products that felt right to use - made from natural materials, with consideration for both the body and the environment. That search became the starting point for EIR.

Nina works closely with the creative direction of the studio, while Lisa focuses on production and partnerships. Together, we build EIR with attention to how things feel, the environmental impact and how they are made.
